The new 2017 KTM RC 200 comes with a new white and orange paint scheme which looks like a step down from the dark colour option in the current version. It has a 199 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 25 PS at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 19.2 Nm at 8,000 rpm and mated to a 6-speed gearbox transmission. It carries a 9.5 litre of fuel tank capacity. The 2017 RC 200 has a 300 mm disc brake at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. ABS still not there. The 2017 RC 200 weights 154 kg. Along with the new shades, the pillion seat gets 12 mm of extra padding.
The new 2017 KTM RC 200 comes with EVAP and CAN Bus systems. The new EVAP system claimed to prevent vaporized fuel loss. The Controller Area Network a.k.a. CAN bus is a specialized internal communications network that connects all the components inside the bike. The new CAN bus system is aimed towards reducing the wiring. The system is designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other in applications. CAN bus also allows a wide range of features to be implemented using software alone, making things less complex and more cost efficient.
The new 2017 KTM RC 200 comes with a price tag of Rs. 171,740 which is Rs. 2,323 more expensive than the current model.
