After the launch of Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder last year in India, the Italian company recently launched the all new Aventador S in India, the new 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S. Lamborghini had globally unveiled the new Aventador S last year and is now ready to run on Indian roads. The ‘S’ in the name indicates the suffix of earlier enhanced Lamborghini models and defines a new benchmark for the V12 Lamborghini.

When Lamborghini launched the Aventador in 2011, the world of fast cars gasped for a moment in disbelief but since then there was nothing much for the Aventador to boast about, the Lamborghini failed to keep up with its competitors and struggled to maintain its competitiveness and prestige at the Big boys table. But the all new Aventador S is here to change all that. By gifting Aventador S, the legacy and tradition of the Lamborghini is again back on track, the company is trying to rise the Italian Dream which has been missing for years and to put a cherry on the top there is an introduction of the godly aspirated V12. In a few words, we have car, normal car, super cars and then the aspirated V12 – V12 is a rare and fantastic kind of thing that is to be respected and admired and that is why the new Lamborghini Aventador S has already made its place in many hearts. The “S” is the Lamborghini tradition gifted with superlative upgrading. The new Aventador S boasts 4 wheel drive, an updated electronic suspension and powered by a 6.5 litre V12 which produce a maximum power of 730 bhp at 8300 rpm, while the aerodynamic efficiency is up by 50% , 130% more down force.


Lamborghini Aventador S clearly shows that this new model has come up with some new and exciting features. The new Aventador S comes with various exterior developments, specially in front and rear area, while its profile remains same as earlier Aventador. The change includes a more aggressive nose and longer front splitter redirect airflow for a better aerodynamic efficiency, improved engine cooling and increased cooling to the radiators. There is two air ducts in the side of the front bumper that helps to reduce the aerodynamic interference from the front tires and optimize wake flow to the rear radiator.

The back area of the new Aventador S is dominated by a black diffuser, which is available on demand in carbon fiber, comprise by a number of vertical fins that amplify the airflow effects and also help to reduce drag through pressure recovery and generate downforce. Three single exhaust outlets is there for exit at the rear bumper.

The new Lamborghini Aventador S runs on a naturally aspirated twelve cylinder, 6.5-litre engine which produces a maximum power of 740 hp at 8400 rpm and a maximum torque of 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Transmission is provided by Lamborghini’s lightweight Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) 7-speed shifting system. Aventador S can reach 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h.


The cockpit of the new Lamborghini Aventador S comes with various new functionality and refinement. The new TFT digital dashboard can be customized according to the driver’s choice along with different kombi screens for Strada, Sport and Corsa in conjunction with the EGO mode. Apple CarPlay is there as a standard specification. The Lamborghini telemetry system is optional which includes recording lap times and track performance and trip data.


The new Lamborghini Aventador S’s dimensions measures as 4,797 mm in length, 2,030 mm in width and 1,136 mm in height and wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
