Barnes & Noble and Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new co-branded tablet called the ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook’ that will replace B&N’s own Nook tablets. It is expected since the Barnes & Noble said in June they would team up with Samsung to release co-branded Nook tablets in August.
The tablet looks just like the standard 7 inch Galaxy Tab 4, but the exception is that it comes with Barnes & Noble’s Nook software. It will still run on Android, but the software will be modified to included both the Samsung’s and Barnes & Noble’s features like it will come with Barnes & Noble’s Nook Shop, but it also include features that Samsung has built into Android such as the ability to open apps in multiple windows on the home screen.
