Design and Styling
The new 2017 Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with the same underpinnings as the Gixxer 155, although the new cruiser features a revised suspension setup which tuned to complement its laid-back character and also has an extended wheelbase. While looking from a fair distance the new Intruder 150 looks like it’s bigger sibling – Intruder, but as you come closer towards the Intruder 150, you can easily notice that it isn’t a conventional cruiser and that’s where this bike gets a character of its own.
The new 2017 Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with same headlight design like it’s bigger sibling which gives it a big-bike look. The illuminator equipped with an LED position lamp. At the front, the motorcycle has a small wind-deflector which does its job pretty well, until you reach closer to the triple-digit number. The wind-deflecting panel also has the all-digital instrument console and a key-slot like on the Gixxer 155.
Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with a full-digital, red-backlit console which features odometer, speedometer, gear indicator, clock, service indicator and two trip meters like on the Gixxer 155. The rubber buttons under the panel continue to cycle through the menu while the bright white indicator lights up whenever you reach the red-line.
The fuel tank of the new Suzuki Intruder 150 has a muscular look with those massive shrouds, although the fuel storage capacity is 11 litres which is 1 litre lesser than the Gixxer 155. Fuel economy claims to be around 44 kmpl and should offer a range of 480 kms to refuel in an ideal situation. A contrasting panel which runs from the top of the fuel tank further complements to the unconventional aesthetics. The rear large panel tries to keep up with the muscular front.
